All students are strongly encouraged to participate in an internship to gain work experience in their field of study. These experiences provide experiential learning and allow students to apply learned skills in a professional setting.
International Students new to GBC or currently enrolled who are interested in gaining work experience related to their field of study off-campus can participate in Curricular Practical Training. Career Services can assist with identifying employers for CPT. Click the link below to learn more!

All undergraduate students are encouraged to participate in the Internship Program prior to graduating. An internship helps the student enhance the student’s professional skills with actual “hands-on” experience in the student’s field of study. An internship is an excellent résumé builder, since most employers make hiring decisions based upon prior work-related experience. It allows the student to stand out from the rest of the competition when searching for part-time or full-time opportunities.
Students are required to hold a GPA of 2.75 and to have completed at least half of their degree requirements at the time of application. The application process and required documents are accessed through Campus Web.
